Facebook Social Media Results Are In...
We launched a seven-day campaign last month to test the waters--if you will--with a targeted audience, specific budget and post. The results were less mediocre at best:
People reached: 940
Organic: 40 (the number of people who have seen the post without the boost)
Paid: 900 (the number of people who have seen the post because it was boosted)
Likes: 4
Share: 1
Gender: 100% women responded to the post
There was no increase in web traffic as a result of the campaign, and no one accepted the offer.
However, we realize this was a short-lived test, and we may need to boost the same post but extend the campaign length since the Facebook offer does not expire until the end of the year.
