Last night, I attended a National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) networking event where professional women come together once a month to share ideas, business concerns, frustrations, etc.

During this particular event we came together to brainstorm. Our president was seeking ideas for future topics to discuss, and other ideas to make our chapter better. It was a very productive meeting, and we established some new topics and projects for the chapter.

If you are a professional woman, whether you're in business for yourself, working for the government or in the private sector, this organization is a great opportunity for women to learn and grow professionally. You should consider joining the NAPW--what you'll receive from it will outweigh the membership fees. It's worth the investment!
