creating a video for our website

Hey Blog Readers!

Our direction for the month of April took a slight turn from producing a LinkedIn promotion to producing a video for our website.

We have a short PowerPoint presentation about web design, which we are transforming into a short video. This is an educational video--Web Design 101--if you will created for anyone who is interested in designing a website but don't know how to get started.

We hope this effort--our first video--will prove to be successful in increasing our social media presence and ultimately our website traffic.

Facebook Social Media Results Are In...

We launched a seven-day campaign last month to test the waters--if you will--with a targeted audience, specific budget and post. The results were less mediocre at best:

People reached: 940
Organic: 40 (the number of people who have seen the post without the boost)
Paid: 900 (the number of people who have seen the post because it was boosted)
Likes: 4
Share: 1
Gender: 100% women responded to the post

Age
21-65+
Gender
Male and Female
Other
Location - Living In: United States

There was no increase in web traffic as a result of the campaign, and no one accepted the offer.

However, we realize this was a short-lived test, and we may need to boost the same post but extend the campaign length since the Facebook offer does not expire until the end of the year.

unveiling part of the plan for the year

We've been working hard to determine our next steps as we continue to grow the business. As you can imagine, it's a daunting task when you have a limited staff. However, there is much work to be done in the coming year if we want to move forward.

We've decided to break up the year in quarters to effectively manage our plan. Since we're now in the middle of February, we must move quickly to achieve this short-term goal.

focusing on the new year

My how time does fly! The month of January is almost gone, and Web Feet Communications has just begun its strategic planning for the year.

During this year we have several goals to accomplish, and we're hoping our blog readers will chime in to let us know what you think about the plans as we move forward.

crusaders baptist church website is now complete!

Crusaders Baptist Church, located in Washington, DC, now has a brand new website!

Crusaders Baptist Church has been a cornerstone in Washington DC for more than 30 years. While their physical presence is small--their spiritual presence in the community reaches far beyond the four walls of the edifice. We hope this new website will help them grow in the community as they labor to build up the Kingdom of God within the church and in the community.
